Community Planting Day In San Augustin, 23th Of June, 2011
During the community planting day in San Augustin the local and foreigh community planted trees on the school ground, exchanged ways of thinking and they all learned about the reasons why trees and forests are life savers!
This whole community planting day was part of a much larger initiative from the UICN, called Pacto por la Vida. As 2011 is the year of the Forest they set out to plant 5 million trees in the whole of central america during the month of june. CCT was able to plant about 2000 trees in this wanderfull project: Pacto por la Vida!
